Guided by the New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) foster care practice model, our team prioritizes child safety, family engagement, timely permanency, and overall well being—every step of the way.

About Us
At Seamen’s Society, our approach is holistic and rooted in teamwork. Through a multidisciplinary framework, we coordinate services across multiple internal departments to meet the complex needs of children and families.
We provide enhanced training, support, and resources to parents, foster parents, and the children in our care. Our services include:
- Individualized service planning
- Case management, health and clinical supports
- Crisis intervention and stabilization
- Educational advocacy, monitoring, and tutoring
- Recreational, cultural, and enrichment opportunities
Our goal is to reduce the impact of trauma, strengthen protective factors, and promote emotional well being, placement stability, and long term permanency for every child.
