Strengthening Family Unity: Holistic Support for Substance Use and Mental Health Challenges
Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Services delivers case management support to families grappling with substance use or mental health diagnoses. Our core objective is to fortify families, ensuring the safety and well-being of children within the familiarity of their homes. By offering support to parents and caretakers, we actively contribute to enhancing safety, permanency, and overall welfare for children in their local homes and communities. Our efforts extend beyond strengthening family dynamics; we also strive to minimize the probability of a child entering foster care.

What is the Program’s philosophy?
Asking for help is one of the hardest things people can do. That’s why respect and empathy are cornerstones of Seamen’s Society Family Treatment and Rehabilitation Services. When people ask for help for themselves or their families, we listen, provide support, educate, and offer care.
We operate with you. With respect and empathy being key principles, nothing is said about you without you.
In addition to an open, inclusive dialogue, we strive to:
- Empower families through counseling and education, enabling parents and caretakers to maintain the safety of their children within their homes.
- Educate parents and caretakers on available resources within their community, including housing, financial aid, and educational assistance.
- Enhance family functioning in critical areas such as substance use, domestic violence, health and/or mental health services, and parenting skills to address potential challenges.
- Deliver high-quality services to families in their native language whenever feasible, incorporating cultural competence and adopting a strength-based perspective.
Do you offer services in languages other than English?
